Giant Manta Rays are fascinating– they can grow about 4 times as long as a human being, and yet they’re completely silent underwater. I had no idea there was one behind me.
Apparently they have one of the biggest brains of any animal! I wonder what they think about…
How could you say “no” to going into a wreck? Well, I was assured it was safe (relatively– there’s always risks inherent in wreck diving) so I figured why not have a brush with death!? Just kidding…!
Ah, Blue Footed Boobies! My spirit animal! They’re my favorite bird, and I never in my life thought I would ever see them in person.
Sometimes, landlocked states have great scuba opportunities! And sometimes… you get to do your first Open Water dives in a pond that’s being actively restocked with fish the day you’ll be in the water. We smelled so bad.
And yet, that didn’t stop me haha!
